Episode 41

STACY CHARRON : KELLER WILLIAMS- UNLIMITED POSSIBILITIES/OPPORTUNITIES. FROM RECEPTIONIST TO CEO

For this episode of Sales Beast, we invited the CEO of Keller Mortgage Canada, Stacy Charron. Leveraging her passion for real estate and innate empathetic approach to the needs of real estate professionals, she strategically discovered and attracted talented individuals to join the Keller Williams family of agents.

Listen to this episode to find out how Keller Williams changed her life in the real estate business. We had an amazing conversation with her as she broke down the best methods for her team and how it helped them achieve their goals and reach the top.

Stacy began her 15-year tenure with Keller Williams in Canada as a member of the leadership team for an Ontario Market Centre. After obtaining her real estate license, she held a critical role responsible for Market Centre growth and expansion. With integrity and adaptability, she developed her recruitment skills.

Even at the start of her recruiting journey, her philosophy was embedded in being where the people are. Where each Saturday, she would stand in hallways of the real estate college and deliver the gift of Keller Williams to up-and-coming agents.

Over the years, she has been committed to those agents, participating in direct training, coaching, and leadership programs. She is truly privileged to have watched those agents evolve into Operating Principles and Mega Agents, and is honoured to have had a role in their success.

Here is a quick summary of our episode with Stacy:

  • 15 Years Journey on How did she start the business:

    • She started having no idea about the business until she received training, mentorship and leadership from Keller Williams.

    • Her advice: “Stick to it and keep going”

    • Teams are not for everyone. Building a team for the right reason is about leading and maintaining your people. A team should give back to its team members.

    • “ I believe that Keller Williams is absolutely the best place for any realtor in the world. And it's because this company didn't care about my status. They didn't care that I was a receptionist. They poured into me, they cared about me, they wanted to make me better. And they did. And again, I don't think there is any other company out there that comes close to being able to lift people up”

    • Align yourself to people with the same culture and core values. You're the average of the people that you give your time to or that you spend time with.

  • Where are you noticing the development of this business? Is this something that's operational today or something that's in the works?

    • “Keller mortgage in the US has been around for several years now. And we really wanted to emulate them as much as possible. And the gradual rollout allows us to provide the best possible experience, no matter what our volume levels are across Canada.”

  • What is the goal of Keller Williams?

    • To protect Keller Williams agents' value proposition for their clients and to help grow their business.

    • “The goal of keeping the realtor, the superhero of the real estate transaction. We're the supporting role that keeps you at the centre of your clients lives and makes you look like a superhero. That's our drive for Keller Williams agents.”
